THE HUNGARIAN OPHTHALMOGICAL SOCIETY’S MISSION​

 

The Hungarian Ophthalmological Society is a voluntary association of members from the science of ophthalmology. The Society coordinates, assists with and protects the interests of ophthalmology, and supports the development of national and international professional relations.

 

Our main objective is to create an ophthalmic scientific environment, to organize congresses and meetings, to create opportunities for communication within the discipline, to support young ophthalmologists in researching, presenting during ophthalmological meetings  and participating in national and international events, as well as to promote the integration of Hungarian ophthalmology into international science and expand our networks. Our goal is to support Hungarian ophthalmologists in their work in order to provide Hungarian patients with the best possible care.
